X-ray techniques

ChemiLytics supports its customers from the beginning of the production chain: X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis ensure a precise assessment of the quality of a raw material – a decisive factor for problem-free production. Thanks to state-of-the-art equipment, our laboratory is always able to provide the most accurate results and analysis and make use of a variety of X-ray analysis methods.

Various X-ray techniques used by the laboratory

Our cutting-edge X-ray methods enable us to offer precise analysis of material structures, chemical elements and crystal structures. Our expertise allows us to offer our customers comprehensive insights into the composition and properties of their samples.

XRF – X-ray fluorescence analysis

XRF is a non-destructive method for analyzing the chemical composition of a sample. Among other things, it ensures a precise assessment of raw material qualities for problem-free production.

XRD – X-ray diffraction analysis

X-ray diffraction analysis involves the study of the diffraction of X-rays on ordered structures such as crystals or quasi-crystals so that statements can be made regarding the phase composition.

Apart from these examples, our range of services also includes the following general points:

  • Materials analysis for element contents between 0.1% and 100%
  • Qualitative and quantitative phase analysis
  • Determination of crystallite size and lattice parameters in different materials
